"Art is a harmony parallel with nature"- Paul Cezanne

Ganesha, also known as Ganapati, Vinayaka, Pillaiyar and Binayak, is one of the best-known and most worshipped deities in the Hindu pantheon. His image is found throughout India, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Bali (Indonesia), and Nepal. Hindu denominations worship him regardless of affiliations. Devotion to Ganesha is widely diffused and extends to Jains and Buddhists.
Although he is known by many attributes, Ganesha's elephant head makes him easy to identify. Ganesha is widely revered as the remover of obstacles, the patron of arts and sciences and the deva of intellect and wisdom. As the god of beginnings, he is honoured at the start of rites and ceremonies. Ganesha is also invoked as patron of letters and learning during writing sessions.
Best out of waste! Creating things from waste material is really an interesting thing to do. I made this Ganapathi candle stand using a small idol of Ganapathi. I used plastic lids as base and also bottle lids for making candle diya and waste papers, pearls, shells etc used for decoration. Actually here the idol of ganapathi was black but i painted golden for the better look. To one side of lid i fixed a thermacol piece and placed ganapathi idol on it. i made two candle diyas with plastic lids. first i melted the wax and for colouration i added some scrapes of yellow wax crayon. to this i dipped cotton string. Now take the metal bottle lids and place the dipped cotton string to one side and pore the wax. Let it cool. Now i repeated the same process to make candles in shell. I filled the remaining places with pearl and quilled roses.
Isn't this interesting? So you can also create such wonderful showpieces out of waste items,
