As per wiki, this is about our collage - Early in 1964, the enlightened public of Kanhangad and Nileshwar resolved to honour the memory of Jawaharlal Nehru. In pursuit of this idea, a dedicated and learned team set up in 1966, an educational society known as "The Nehru Memorial Education Society" under the distinguished presidentship of the late Shri. C. K. Nair following which the society was duly registered. The establishment of Nehru Arts & Science College, Kanhangad in this backward coastal tract was the major task the society had set before themselves and had subsequently accomplished it. The society acquired a plot of 30 acres at Padnekkad and applied for affiliation to the University of Kerala for a junior college in the locality. The foundation stone of the college building was laid on 1st April 1968 by Late Janab. C. H. Mohammed Koya, The Minister for Education, Kerala while in office. Meanwhile, the area came under the territorial jurisdiction of the Calicut University, to which the college was affiliated. First year Pre-Degree classes commenced on 14th August 1968. The college was upgraded in 1972. Presently, the college is affiliated to Kannur Univeristy.

Talking about my collage, its the campus embed in nature. We have the richness of nature shelter in our campus. We have a pleasant atmosphere all around our collage. Apart from this our zoology department have created Aquaponics, where we use organic fish waste for cultivation of organic vegies. We are blessed with good teachers, student friendly politics and of course Sahityavedi by Dr.M.Ambikasutan sir have always brought students to the world of literature.

This year's collage magazine work is little bit special for me. I have done a little contribution, not for magazine but for its promotion. Creating board with glass painting was our chemistry professor Dr.A. Mohanan sir's idea and i really want to thank him for preferring and giving me that opportunity . It was really hard because i had to fill big canvas at limited time but i got great support and help from the whole team of union. I think it took about 5 days to complete and the other writing works were done by the magazine team. At last, we set it up in the main entrance.
